Forsyth, IL (CHAMBANA TODAY) – A women’s health clinic in Forsyth is expanding its support for families by launching a donation closet aimed at helping parents facing financial challenges during pregnancy and early parenthood.

The OSF HealthCare women’s health clinic, which has operated in Forsyth for two years using a midwife-based care model, recently introduced “Stork Stop.” The program provides baby clothing, baby essentials and postpartum supplies to patients identified as having a need.

Items are distributed by OSF Mission Partners to patients during clinic appointments at no charge and with no questions asked. The donation closet is not open to the public.

OSF is currently accepting donations of new or gently used baby clothing up to 18 months, baby toys and bouncers, and items from the clinic’s wish list. Monetary donations are not being accepted at this time.

Donations can be dropped off Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the clinic, 845 South Route 51 in Forsyth. Arrangements can also be made for those unable to deliver items in person.

Clinic representatives say Stork Stop reflects OSF’s ongoing commitment to care for patients beyond the exam room and strengthen the communities it serves.

For more information about Stork Stop or services at the Forsyth clinic, call 217-443-5697.
