Springfield, IL (CAPITOL CITY NOW) – Our Friends of Sangamon County Animal Control Dog of the Week is one of the longest residents at the shelter. This good boy keeps getting overlooked by potential adopters.

Kobe has been with us since the beginning of June. He’s about three years old. Kobe is a nice, friendly boy who loves people and playing in the play yard. He’s easy to walk on a leash and he loves to carry his ball while he takes his walks. Kobe is a good boy that doesn’t stand out in our overcrowded shelter. Please come out to meet him and spend some time outside with him. A nice boy like Kobe deserves a chance at a new life in a loving home. He’s available for foster, foster to adopt and adoption.

Please come out to Sangamon County Animal Control and Adoption Center to meet all of our wonderful adoptable pets. Shelter hours are Monday -Friday 10:30-4:15 and Saturday 9:00-1:00.

For a limited time ALL PETS CAN BE ADOPTED FOR $25!!! Every adoption includes spay/neuter, vaccinations and a microchip.
