Meet Enzo — Friends of SCAC Dog of the Week

Springfield, IL (CAPITOL CITY NOW) – Our Friends of Sangamon County Animal Control Dog of the Week has been waiting a very long time to meet his forever family. Enzo is one of our longest residents after he was surrendered by his owner in November.

Living in a kennel for four months has been very stressful for Enzo. He’s a big strong boy who loves to play and his energy level is very high. Enzo loved playing in the snow during the recent cold spell. He was never taught to walk on a leash so he will need an adopter who is willing to spend the time to teach him leash manners, and be comfortable with his high energy level. Enzo can be a wonderful new friend for a person who also has a high energy level and loves to be active. He is available for foster or adoption.

Enzo and all of our adoptable pets are waiting to meet you during shelter hours Monday-Friday 10:30-4:15 and Saturday 9:00-1:00. Come on out and meet your new best friend!
