Springfield, IL (CAPITOL CITY NOW) – The staff, volunteers and Friends of Sangamon County Animal Control are grateful for the love, kindness and support for the homeless pets in our care at Sangamon County Animal Control and Adoption Center. Thank you for adopting, fostering and donations of food, money and time.

Meet Dusty, our Dog of the Week. Unfortunately, Dusty has been living in a kennel at SCACAC since August 18th when he was surrendered by his owner. Dusty is a friendly, high energy boy. He loves his time outside and would benefit from some leash training. He is an athletic boy who will be a great companion for walking and a game of fetch. He’s a really handsome guy, too!

Please come to SCACAC to meet Dusty and all of the other adoptable pets. This week shelter hours are Monday-Wednesday 10:30-4:15 and Saturday 9:00-1:00. We will be closed Thursday and Friday for the Thanksgiving holiday.
