Springfield, IL (CAPITOL CITY NOW) – Meet Aretha, a 2-year-old tabby with a laid-back, sweet personality.

Aretha loves to relax on soft, comfy blankets, soaking up the warmth while she observes the world around her. Whether she’s lounging peacefully or casually people-watching, she’s got a calm and serene vibe that makes her a perfect companion for a quiet, cozy home.

Aretha is a bit on the shy side and will need a slow introduction to feel comfortable in her new environment. Once she’s had time to adjust, you’ll discover what a loving and sweet girl she is. Her affectionate nature will shine through as she warms up to you at her own pace.

If you’re looking for a gentle, low-key companion who loves to unwind and take in the world, Aretha could be your perfect match. Come meet her at the Animal Protective League, 1001 Taintor Road in Springfield. We’re open every day from noon to 5 p.m.
