Springfield, IL (CAPITOL CITY NOW) – Did you feel it?

The U.S. Geological Survey confirms an earthquake was reported in Ohlman, Illinois — south of Taylorville and southeast of Springfield, around 1:30 this morning.

The magnitude was initially registered at 3.5, but has since been increased to 3.8, still making it a minor earthquake. Maps indicate it might have been felt all over Central Illinois.

No reports of damage or major problems.
