Forsyth, IL (CAPITOL CITY NOW) – The deaths of a couple near Decatur several months ago have been ruled a murder-suicide.

That’s according to our news partners at WAND-TV, who report the Macon County Coroner believes the deaths of Dr. William Frame and Lorie Frame, 65 and 63,were intentional.

The bodies of the Frames were found in a bathroom off their bedroom June 2, 2025, after friends had called the Macon County Sheriff’s Department wondering where the two were.

“After an extensive investigation and elimination of all potential persons of interest though forensic evidence, cellular phone examinations, and interviews, the Sheriff’s Office has completed and closed the investigation,” MCSO said, according to WAND. “Evidence showed that William Frame shot Lorie and then took his own life with the same firearm.”

The official coroner’s ruling was “homicide/suicide.”
