Clinton man killed in one-car crash

CLINTON, IL (WAND) – A man who was killed in a crash near Clinton Monday has been identified.

The DeWitt County Coroner shared in a press release that a vehicle driven by 29-year-old Thomas J. Lobano of Clinton, was heading west towards Clinton on Route 54, and eventually went off the highway and into a wooded area on the north side of the road.

Lobano was pronounced dead at the scene at 7:28 p.m., according to the coroner’s office.

The crash is still being investigated.
