1 hurt in 2-vehicle crash in Sangamon County

Auburn, IL (WAND) – One person was taken to the hospital after a two-vehicle crash in Sangamon County Sunday afternoon.

Illinois State Police said it happened on IL Route 104 near Dawson Road in Auburn just before 1 p.m.

ISP told WAND News that one person was taken to the hospital. It is unclear what condition they are in.

Police did not say what caused the crash, but warned of the severe dust storm advisory in effect until 7 p.m. Sunday night across much of central Illinois. State police advised caution for drivers in the area.
