As a 10-year veteran of the Springfield Fire Department, Justin Stewart has taken on some daunting challenges, and he’ll take on another as he attempts to take the 32 story Wyndham by stair in just around 2 minutes. Just to add to the challenge, he will be wearing 60lbs. of firefighting gear.  He will lead the First Responders Team in the American Lung Associations Fight for Air Stair Climb this Saturday at the downtown hotel.

As many as 1,000 people are expected to participate in the charity fundraiser. Stewart has made stair climbing something of a hobby. In past years he’s taken on the John Hancock Center, the Empire State Building and many other of the nation’s tallest skyscrapers. To learn more or to sign up go to ACTION.LUNG.ORG.
