A non-specific Twitter threat sent Chatham Police and Glenwood High School staff into action Wednesday.
Ball-Chatham school district spokeswoman Betsy Schroeder, reading from a statement, said students were never in danger.
“GHS administrators took immediate action to secure the school and alert the Chatham Police department,” Schroeder said. “A short time later the former student was found at his home and placed into custody.”
Schroeder said a student alerted the administration about the tweet, which didn’t outline specific threats or threaten specific people.
