Mayor-Elect Jim Langfelder says he’s put together a cross-section of people that will help him transition in to the top city job.
Langfelder has announced a transition team of business and industry leaders and those representing political and other interests in the city, ranging from Memorial Health Systems CEO Edgar Curtis, to Ward Two Alderman Gail Simpson.
Langfelder says he wanted to bring people in that “have a vested interest” in the city.
Langfelder’s inauguration is May seventh. He’s planning on a number of activities that day that will be open to the public.
