Three are dead and one is hospitalized tonight after a fatal accident on Illinois 104 near Franklin this (Monday) afternoon.

Illinois State Police report 19-year-old Tiffany Pepper of Franklin was eastbound near the Reese Curve when another vehicle crossed the center and struck her. She was airlifted to Memorial Medical Center in Springfield but there is no word on her condition.

The driver of the other vehicle, a 19-year-old male, and two passengers, a 36-year-old male and 39-year-old female were all pronounced dead at the scene by the Morgan County Coroner. Their ID’s have not been released pending notification of family.

Illinois State Police are investigation the incident.
