How it all started (radio)

My radio career started right here in Springfield at the Capitol Radio Group in 2008. I started as a sales intern & slowly moved my way up the ranks.

How it’s going

Well, I’d say it’s going great! I have the wonderful opportunity to play all your favorite songs, make you laugh with my corny dad jokes & say the craziest things every Saturday & Sunday, from 2-6pm.

My favorite local hobby

I have two favorite local hobbies both include bikes. My first, riding my motorcycle all over central IL & I’m talking ALL OVER central IL. My second favorite hobby is riding my bicycle all over the city Springfield super late at night with my friends Greg & Alex. You can check out pics from some of my adventures on Instagram @springfield_bike_gang

My favorite local event

Idk about you but I absolutely LOVE the State Fair! Eating the all the great food, riding my favorite rides…I absolutely love the State Fair & I’ve been sneaking in since I was a kid.

My family

I’ve been married to my amazing wife Brooke for 12 wonderful years. We have two amazing kids Jordyn & Landyn. Jordyn is 19, is the athlete of our family & attends LLCC. Landyn is 11 & has dreams of being a full time YouTuber & professional gamer when he’s older.

Where I came from

I’ve moved around a lot as a kid, but I always seem that make my way back to the 217 area. In high school I went to Athens for a few years & then ended up graduating from Rochester in 2001. Shoutout to the class of 01!!!

My hidden talent or claim to fame

My claim to fame is one of three things. I was either one of your teachers in high school, you know me from working at WDBR, or you almost arrested with me in the late 90’s & early 2000’s.
