How it all started (radio)
It was a cloudy, chilly fall day in Champaign, IL in the year 2001.  I was in my first semester at Parkland College when we were told we had to be “on-air” as part of the class.  The rest is history.
How it’s going
I started here at WDBR / Capitol Radio Group as an intern back in 2004.  From there, I just kept hanging around and finally climbed my way up to host the WDBR Morning Show.
My favorite local hobby
Anything that involves fitness I AM IN!!  I love playing rec league basketball, working out at CrossFit Instinct, going for a swim at the YMCA, riding my bike on the trails and of course…hitting the lake on my jet ski.
My favorite local event
I really enjoy the Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular at Washington Park around Halloween time!  I’m so impressed with all the pumpkin carvings because I know I can NOT do that!
My family
I’ve lived with my girlfriend up on the north end of Springfield since 2010.  #NorthSidePride.  We have two dogs:  Divot and Barkley.
Where I came from
I grew up 90 minutes north of Springfield on I-55 in Pontiac, IL.  Some of you might stop there now to check out the huge WALLY’S gas station.  Exit 197 baby!!
My hidden talent or claim to fame
I don’t know if it’s a talent but, I seem to injure myself in the most NON-COOL ways!  For example:  hurting my back putting on socks or sneezing.  (That’s my life.)
