Three injured in motorcycle accident in Sherman


The Sherman Police Department says three motorcycles were involved in a crash in Sherman north of Tipton School Road, injuring three around 12:40 pm on Saturday.

66-year-old Stephen Anzalone of Palatine, Illinois suffered a medical condition, which caused him to crash into two other motorcycles. Anzalone sustained injuries as a result of the crash. A 69-year-old motorcyclist and 64-year-old passenger sustained injuries in the incident as well. The 69-year-old was treated at the scene and released, however the 64-year-old and Anzalone were transported to HSHS St. John’s Hospital where they are reported in stable condition.

Anzalone was ticketed for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.
