Sean Kingston has set the record straight after he was caught on camera boasting about drinking alcohol as he was about the drive.

The R&B star was spotted leaving a club in Los Angeles on Tuesday night, when he was interviewed by editors at TMZ.com about the new 2 Chainz track.

When asked what his favorite lyric on the record is, he replied, “I don’t know – too many drinks.”

The star then got into the driver’s seat of his Lamborghini and pulled away.

He has now taken to Twitter.com to insist he was only joking when he made the comment, writing, “For the record TMZ I’m not 1 of these artist who u may think is living youngwild (sic) and free in Hollywood, I care about my reputation and brand.

“It was obviously a joke everyone that know me (sic) or been around knows that I don’t even drink in clubs. So can we stop with this.”
