Paramore frontwoman Hayley Williams has apologied for the band’s axed shows in Texas as she recovers from exhaustion.

Paramore are currently on the Momentour with fellow pop-rockers Fall Out Boy and they cancelled their show in Corpus Christi on Monday night and in Dallas on Tuesday due to Williams’ health issues.

In a post on the band’s official blog, the star explains she is battling a chest infection and exhaustion, but hopes to recover in time for the rest of the tour.

She writes, “Words in this tiny little message cannot begin to express my frustration, sadness, and overall loopiness… I absolutely hate canceling anything. Admitting defeat is a tough thing for this gal… As for the rest of the tour. It is still on. Doctor thinks I’ll be good to go in the next day and certainly before the next show.”

Williams is due back on stage with Paramore in Albuquerque, New Mexico on Thursday.
