LOS ANGELES (AP) — There’s a new movie coming out about James Brown. And his record label is marking the occasion by releasing a new set of his hits.

The songs will be part of the soundtrack for “Get On Up.” Among the songs released as either original studio versions or live versions are “Please Please Please,” ”I Got You (I Feel Good,)” ”Papa’s Got A Brand New Bag” and “The Payback.”

The album is due out later this month, just a few days before the Aug. 1 movie release.
