“Psy” Returns Big Time!
“Psy” Returns Big Time!

So much for being a “One Hit Wonder”….

Psy’s video for ‘Gentleman’ had 18.9 million views on its first day on the web, which completely shattered Justin Bieber and Nicki Minaj’s record — their ‘Beauty and a Beat’ video posted 10.6 million views when it premiered back in October.

If the Korean pop sensation keeps up this pace, ‘Gentleman’ could possibly surpass the success of ‘Gangnam Style.’ Psy’s breakout hit holds the record for the first video to hit 1 billion views on YouTube. ‘Gentleman’ currently has nearly 100 million views, getting about half of that within the first 40 hours the video was posted online. Could Psy break his own record? We’ll all have to wait and see!
