Good Thursday morning to you! Hope your day has started off very, very well! Mine has not started off that great I’m going to just vent for a minute because maybe, just maybe it will make me feel better So today I went to CrossFit Instinct to do my CrossFit Games Open WOD 12.4. Here is what I had to do…I had 12 minutes to do 150 wall balls with a 20lb ball, 90 double unders, then 30 muscle ups on the rings. Now I’ve never claimed to be GREAT, or AWESOME at double unders but I can usually string together about 20 in a row which isn’t great but I would get through the 90 and have to rock out some muscle ups which I feel strong in. I did terrible!! I couldn’t get more than 2 double unders in a row!! I only got a total of 40 and never even made it to the muscle ups!! I know it’s the competitive nature in me but I must do better!! I have decided to give this workout one more try on Sunday afternoon!! Well today is my last day at work for the week. I’m taking tomorrow off and heading up to Chicago. My g/f and I have tickets to the Bulls vs. 76ers game on Saturday so we are going up tomorrow to do some shopping (well she is) I’m going to workout, practice double unders and watch NCAA Basketball!! We are then hanging out with some old friends in Chicago for St. Patty’s Day festivities during the day Saturday and Bulls game at night!! Then home early on Sunday to get ready for my 12. 4 WOD again!!
I better get back to work now before I bore you!!
