1 1/2 hour drive to New Berlin!

Good Friday afternoon! I hope your day is going well so far! I must say that I had quite the day off yesterday! I started my day with getting up early to head over to my g/f aunt’s house to help with some painting. I was in the basement and I had to scrap off all the old paint on the metal bars that cover the basement windows. I also scrapped the paint off the window frames. I got such a shoulder workout it was crazy! I will go back on another day and start the painting!
After that I went home and waited for my little sister, Dani, to get out of her FFA convention. While I was waiting I thought I would take a nap but instead I cooked some food for the next week and chilled in the hot tub for a bit! Once she and my g/f got to the house we headed to Smokey Bones for some food before the Luke Bryan concert! My sister had never been there before so we hit it up and she loved it! We left Smokey Bones at 7:00 and got parked in New Berlin at 8:30!!! 1 1/2 hours to New Berlin! It usually takes 20 minutes! CRAZY! Someone had the bright idea to put all concert traffic on the shoulder of the high way so the other travelers could keep moving to their destination. Well some idiots didn’t want to wait in line so they would speed up to the front of the line and just wait to get let in. I played Mr. Badass and didn’t let anyone in! That’s just not cool of them. Wait in line the all the others!
Finally once we got into the show, it was a good time. My sister had a blast and I must say Luke Bryan was entertaining. I’m not a country fan but he was a great performer. He even covered some Top 40 WDBR tunes! Justin Bieber, Snoop Dogg and Wiz Khalifa and of course old school Sir Mix-A-Lot! He got the crowd to join in on all of them! It was a fun time! The ride home only took 20 mins ;)

Well, I must get some work done and I will talk to you at 6 o’clock tonight!

Just my sister, g/f, and I at the Sangamon County Fair…after our 1 1/2 hour drive there! ┬áIt’s fuzzy but all good!
